How your information is handled
01
INFORMATION

California notice at collection.

At or before collection, Kelly Stern Coaching provides this notice about the categories of personal information collected through this website and the purposes for using them.

Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, IP address, and other contact details you choose to provide. These are used to respond to inquiries, schedule or provide requested services, maintain correspondence, secure the site, and meet legal obligations.

Internet or electronic activity: browser and device information, referring page, pages or features used, server logs, and analytics information when you consent. These are used for security, troubleshooting, site operation, and—with consent—understanding and improving website use.

Professional or other information you provide: areas of interest and details included in a message or scheduling request. These are used to understand and respond to your request and discuss coaching, workshops, or advisory services.

The website does not intentionally collect precise geolocation, government identifiers, account passwords, financial account credentials, medical records, or other sensitive personal information through its contact form. Please do not include those details. Personal information is not sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising.

02
USE

How information may be used.

Information you provide may be used to respond to your inquiry, schedule or manage a consultation, communicate about coaching, workshops, or advisory services, maintain business records, protect the website from misuse, and improve the website and client experience.

Kelly Stern Coaching does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

03
SCHEDULING

Consultation scheduling.

The Contact page offers Google Calendar appointment scheduling. The embedded calendar does not contact Google until you choose “Load calendar.” If you load the calendar or open the external booking page, Google may receive technical information, use cookies, and process the information you submit under its own terms and privacy practices. The website’s analytics preference does not control cookies placed by Google’s scheduling service after you choose to use it.

04
WEBSITE DATA

Technical data & cookies.

Personal information comes directly from you when you submit a form, send email, or schedule a consultation; automatically from your browser, device, and the hosting server; and from service providers when you choose to use their features.

The hosting server may automatically receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, timestamps, and request logs for security, troubleshooting, anti-spam controls, and normal website operation. The contact form temporarily uses one-way hashes and rate-limit records to prevent duplicate and abusive submissions.

The website stores your analytics preference in your browser so it can remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential analytics. Third-party features that you choose to load or visit may use their own cookies or similar technologies.

05
GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Google Analytics & consent.

Google Analytics is treated as non-essential analytics and does not load until you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. If you reject analytics, the site will not intentionally load Google Analytics through this consent system.

When enabled with your consent, Google Analytics may collect information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source, and interaction data. Analytics is configured not to enable Google advertising signals or ad-personalization signals.

You can revisit your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the website footer. Changing your choice to reject sets analytics storage to denied and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; refreshing or visiting another page prevents the analytics script from loading again. Google processes analytics information under its own privacy practices.

06
PRIVACY SIGNALS

Global Privacy Control & Do Not Track.

This website honors an enabled Global Privacy Control signal or a browser Do Not Track value of “1” by automatically rejecting non-essential analytics. While such a signal remains enabled, an attempt to accept analytics will continue to be treated as a rejection.

If your browser does not send either signal, you can accept or reject analytics through the cookie choices shown by the site and change that choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

07
DISCLOSURES

Service providers & disclosures.

During the preceding 12 months, the categories described above may have been disclosed for business purposes to website hosting and security providers, email providers, technical-support providers, and—only when you choose the relevant feature—Google Analytics or Google Calendar. Identifiers and inquiry content may be processed to deliver and respond to messages. Internet activity may be processed for hosting, security, troubleshooting, and consented analytics. Scheduling information is processed by Google when you load or visit its scheduling service.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights, or to address fraud, abuse, or security concerns. Kelly Stern Coaching does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

08
RETENTION

Retention & security.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, the relationship with you, ordinary business records, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Contact-form anti-spam rate-limit and duplicate-prevention records expire after periods ranging from 15 minutes to 72 hours. Your analytics preference remains in your browser until you change it or clear browser storage. Hosting, email, scheduling, and analytics providers apply their own documented or configured retention schedules.

Reasonable administrative and technical steps are used to protect information, including HTTPS, request validation, access controls, rate limiting, and restricted administrative areas. No website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

09
CALIFORNIA RIGHTS

California privacy choices.

California residents may ask what personal information was collected, request access to it, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion where appropriate and permitted by law. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, residents may also request information about categories, sources, purposes, and disclosures; opt out of sale or sharing; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service without discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Kelly Stern Coaching does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not intentionally use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. You may change analytics consent through “Cookie settings” at any time.

Submit a request by emailing kelly@kellysterncoaching.com or through the contact form with “California privacy request” in your message. To protect your information, a request may be verified through the email address associated with your interaction and by asking for limited additional information. An authorized agent may submit a request by providing signed authorization; Kelly Stern Coaching may also confirm the request directly with you. A response will be provided within the period required by applicable law.
